The FDA are delighted to announce the launch of the third FDA e-learning initiative
- the e-Learning Foundation course. The FDA's Foundation Course has always been
a popular course with our members. Ideal for new staff to the industry, the
course often forms part of an induction programme and enables students to find
out more about the company for which they work.
Now this course has been made even more accessible, by the introduction of an
e-learning version. Unlike the previous FDA e-learning courses on industry risk,
this e-learning course works in the same way as the rest of the Distance Learning
Programme. i.e. students must be booked on the course via the FDA website. You
will then be invoiced accordingly. The Coach will then be sent their FDA E-Learning
Foundation 'User Name' and 'Password' and the student's 'User Name' and 'Password'
- to pass on to the student to begin the course.
This new inter-active e-version is designed in the same way as the book-based Foundation course, with five modules which need to be completed before an on-line examination is taken. Once a student booking has been received at the FDA and the student and the coach have been issued with their 'User Name' and 'Password', the student will then be free to log onto the course and complete each module at their own pace.
Students will now automatically be registered on the e-Learning version of the Foundation course, unless the FDA is told otherwise; and the cost of the e-learning course remains at £220 per person. More information on the course is available from the course mailer which is available to download below.
If you have any questions regarding the FDA e-Learning Foundation course, please contact: Phiona Cipriani - admin@thefda.org.uk
We hope you will agree that adding this course is an exciting and worthwhile
addition to the FDA's e-Learning offering and we look forward to welcoming students
onto the FDA e-Learning Foundation course.
